FACILITIES, HOW TO CHECK AVAILABILITY AND BOOK YOUR STAY
Our rooms
Our two ensuite kingsize bedrooms deliver a high level of cosy comfort. We also offer a comfortable suite with ensuite double bedroom and sitting room with widescreen TV (dogs are permitted at a charge of £10 per dog).
Bedding and towels are provided and each room has a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge.
Sensitively decorated to reflect the fishing and agricultural history of the building, the rooms are accessed via the downstairs side entrance. The stairs to the rooms are not suitable for those with limited mobility. There is no lift. On-street parking is available in the village.
A delicious breakfast is included (see Breakfast Menu) and light lunches and dinner are available (for food availability please see our Opening Hours and Menus). Rooms are available on Tuesday to Sunday nights.
Please note the pub is shut on Mondays, and the kitchen is shut on Sunday nights, so we would recommend you visit nearby Norham and The Masons Arms for lunch or an evening meal.

Explore the local area
The area offers access to the beautiful Northumberland coast and the Scottish Borders. The nearby walled town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is steeped in history and offers stunning views out to sea from its ramparts.
There are good transport links with trains to Edinburgh and Newcastle calling regularly at Berwick station. Buses from Berwick can take you down the coast to attractions such as Lindisfarne, Alnwick and Bamburgh.
Horncliffe village offers a playpark and opportunities for walking and cycling. Visitors can visit the nearby Chain Bridge Honey Farm and the newly refurbished Union Chain Bridge across the River Tweed is within easy walking distance from the pub.
